Meet The Team
Maureen Connelly and Miriam McGill launched Integral Connections - A Whole-Child Initiative to support children and their families. Their attention is focused on the social, emotional, mental, physical, and cognitive development of children. Enhancing academic skills by focusing on all attributes of a child is the goal.
Collectively, Maureen and Miriam have known the rewards of helping shape the lives of children for more than sixty-five years. As members of Exceptional Student Service Teams they have provided specialized/individualized services to children in all academic areas throughout the Tucson school communities, as well as internationally. Their focus extends far beyond the subject matter, or the numerous pieces of information each child has been given to learn. Maureen and Miriam recognize the whole child and their families, who they are, how they learn, and what they need.

As a certified SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist), Maureen does much more than just Speech and Language Therapy. Her ‘Super Power’ is helping children communicate. She often reminds children, “It Doesn’t Matter if You’re Two or Two Hundred,” our communication skills determine what sort of relationships we will have with others wherever we are.

Miriam McGill - Special Education Teacher and Consultant
Miriam is a dual Master’s Degree Educator with professional accolades reaching across Germany, Italy, India, and the United States. A multitude of professional assignments within each culture allowed her to develop and refine individual enrichment programs to facilitate customized learning.

Saya - Registered Therapy Dog
Children enthusiastically respond to reading lessons with our sweet four-legged friend, Saya. It’s no surprise that reading can, at times, be an intimidating process for some children. A Reading Dog Experience with Miriam and Saya provides a non-judgmental engagement for children. It further provides an opportunity to develop literacy skills while supporting social-emotional skills. This unique experience may be one of your child’s most memorable reading experiences.

Christopher McGill
Chris is a highly skilled professional with a BA in Electrical Engineering and a passion for all things math-related. He offers comprehensive math coaching from elementary school, to middle school, high school, and beyond. With his expertise spanning the entire mathematical spectrum, Chris ensures a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for students at every stage. Whether it’s foundational concepts or advanced topics, Chris injects a dose of “mathemagic” into every lesson to create an equation for succes.
